Golden milk
To make golden milk, first make turmeric paste.
Turmeric paste ingredients:
- 120 grams of organic turmeric powder
- 3 cups of water
- 3 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
Place everything (except the coconut oil) in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Cooking ensures that the pepper is absorbed well and mixed with the turmeric.
Remove from the heat and add the coconut oil. Stir well and let the turmeric paste cool. The combination of black pepper and coconut oil enhances the absorption of this powerful spice.
You can store the turmeric paste in a glass jar in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks
Golden milk ingredients :
- 1 heaped teaspoon of the turmeric paste
- Plant-based milk (almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Place the cups of milk with the turmeric paste in a pan and heat gently. Make sure it doesn't boil! When it is at the right temperature, pour it into a cup. Add some cinnamon to taste and enjoy!
